Mission Statement

Mission Statement

As Hippocrates stated, "natural forces within us are the true healers of disease." Two-thousand years later, I feel comfortable saying that if natural forces are coupled with high-tech, cutting-edge, and state-of-the art treatments we can fight even the most serious diseases.

My clinical practice focuses on multidisciplinary and minimally invasive treatment of brain and spine tumors using cutting-edge technology. Since my graduation from medical school in 1984, I have acquired technical and surgical expertise to treat the most complex tumors of the central nervous system. Ultimately, my goal is to improve outcomes in the treatment of malignant and benign brain and spine tumors. To offer the most comprehensive care to each of my patients, I work with a team of experts in the field of brain and spine tumors to provide multidisciplinary and individualized care. Every patient is unique and each deserves treatment options tailored to meet their needs.

There is no way to prepare for the diagnosis of a brain or spine tumor. Such diagnosis is often accompanied by confusion and anxiety. Critical decisions must be made at a time where the mind is occupied by many worrisome thoughts. It is critical at his point to meet a physician that can understand these emotions and present all pertinent treatment options. It is my goal to discuss with each of my patients the best treatment options and to empower them to be able to make decisions that are right for them.
